Bonelli`s Cafe Italia in Pensacola

Our first visit. Food was wonderful. Freshly prepared for us and delicious. The people that work there were the best. Very helpful with the menu items and knowledgeable about what they offered. We had a great meal and a great time.

My first time at this restaurant. I had one of the evening specials which was ravioli with 4 different cheeses covered with an acorn squash sauce. Not sure I described it exactly right but it was excellent! Will definitely go back to try different entrees. If you like Italian you should give them a try!

Went here based off a suggestion from a born local on my flight and who became friends with the Bonelli family. The staff were very nice and welcoming and the owner Joey even introduced himself after I told the hostess that I came here from a suggestion from a passenger on my flight during my work trip. If you want an absolute great dining experience come in early and sit at the bar. Justin was amazing and made for a great time with the different kinds of drinks he made me and suggested the vodka meatball dish which was freaking great and apparently a favorite of the regulars. Flavorful sauce, well made ravioli, large portion size and good cheese.The entry definitely underplays how good this place is. Not a very fancy sign or setting but you can tell the history of the place. And the converted house to bar and restaurant addition was pretty cool. Take care of Justin. He was awesome and newly married. Tip him big.

Best Italian food in the southeast, hands down. Make a reservation and try everything!

Thank you Dawn and Joey for a wonderful dinner with my wife! Finished it off with an espresso. Really enjoyed the chicken parmesan. Can't wait to see the covered area finished.

Amazing place!! The deck is definitely the place to sit when the sun is setting it's so beautiful! We tried the mushroom appetizer (by recommendation of our server) and it was TO DIE FOR. Especially on top of the bread! My husband had the special Korean BBQ Pork and Pineapple Ravioli and I had the Baked Rigatoni and both were amazing!! We literally had 4 or 5 bites of the entrees and were already stuffed because they were so big! Thank you so much!

If you believe that food can be so good that you would slap your own mother, might I suggest you never go here. A true Italian Family Restaurant, the Bonellis would frown on that kind of behavior. But the food definitely fits the bill!

Absolutely lovely atmosphere, quaint, cozy little gem on 9th!! The food was amazing. The service genuinely warm and so very friendly. Nice list of wines and the specials I hear are delicious. We tried the lasagna and the baked rigatoni and ate everything!! We will definitely be back!!

The food is authentic Italian food from family owned recipes who came here from Italy! The portions are very generous and sooo delicious! The prices are reasonable and service is top notch! Make a reservation because they are always busy! Love this restaurant! Highly recommend!

I felt like I was part of their family as soon as I walked through the door. The staff treated me like I was an old time friend and I was coming for a visit. If you are looking for a good atmosphere, this is it. And the chicken parmigiana is awesome.

What an amazing little find! I was looking for a lesser known restaurant to try out in Pensacola and found a gem! The outdoor seating is so cozy and romantic. The food is outstanding and they have a wonderful selection of drinks. We had top notch service also! I can’t wait to come back!

Wow...what a treat for the senses! The food was AMAZING. A culinary delight! Cheese and garlic abound! Our waitress knew the menu inside out and met all of our needs without hovering. You can dress up or wear shorts and birks, all are welcome. Don’t be alarmed if you’re seated in the b-side every detail was lovely!

Bonelli's was absolutely amazing! My family of 4 made a reservation this Saturday for my birthday dinner. Marlon was our helpful, laid-back waiter (who made sure to hook us up with a dessert once he found out it was my birthday - super sweet!). We had the saucy shrimp and potato croquette for appetizers, both of which were awesome and pretty sizeable for apps. I got Joey's Baked Ravioli and oh. my. god. It was DELICIOUS! Best Italian food I've ever had. We'll definitely be back!

Amazing little Italian place that is expanding.You can tell the new construction layout is going to be beautiful. Our waitress made it so special with the wine tastings. The owner stopped by to say hi and the food was absolutely delicious.Vibe was spot-on perfect music selection and perfect lighting I'm a stickler for both.

The staff is very friendly and the customer service is great. I would have given them 5 stars but I made a RSVP and they set me and my family at a high table and my son could not reach the table. I asked for another table and the staff member said they did not have anymore even though there was 2 tables open. Normally I gave a great experience but this was a bad experience for me so I left. The food is amazing.

One of the best Italian restaurants we’ve had in Florida. We ordered the meatballs, cheese ravioli, and rigatoni. All were very good. Service was a little slow but our server made up for it with his hospitality. Great authentic little restaurant.

I was looking for an authentic italian restaurant and finally found it!! I lived in Italy for 4 years and this is the first time anyone has even come close to the real thing, but Bonelli's gets it right every time. We have been here 4 times now and try something different each time. We are never disappointed!

The food was awesome and the service was friendly. There was two of us eating a three course meal each and paid $54.00 and worth every penny. We highly recommend trying this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

Run down bldg. no sign, answering machine still runs saying will reopen after Covid Florida shutdown. Which now 6/9/20 all restaurants are opened.

Great food. Very engaging owner. Joey spent a lot of time visiting with us tonight and worked us in without a reservation. The baked ravioli is wonderful. If anything should be improved it is the wine selection. They give you great pours but I didn't like their selection. Terrific service and friendly. Definitely a place to eat but get a reservation!

Justin was our server and he was very attentive but not overbearing. The dining rooms in the little house make for a nice ambiance. The food is very good. Made to order dishes, unlimited bread on table, and overall lovely dining. There is even a large outdoor patio with a fire table. Make sure to make your reservations a day ahead even on a weekday.

Highly recommend! Not only will you be supporting a local business, but the food here is fantastic. Authentic italian food.

Amazing food, incredible service! Tonight's special (four cheese ravioli with vodka sauce, crumbled meatballs, mozzarella and parmesan) was absolutely fantastic. Pretty much everything is made in house and you can tell. Get the Italian Creme dessert... It's not too heavy, not too sweet... The perfect finish. Alicia was one of the best waitresses we've ever had. Thank you Bonelli's for an amazing birthday dinner... I'm in heaven right now 🤣

bonnelli's is an upscale restraunt that is newly renovated. Food is authentic and made ONLY after you place an order, reservations required to guarantee a table. Tables are inside, patio, awning, back porch, bar. Located on the West side of 9th Ave in Pensacola. Well worth a visit for a special evening, 5 pm to 10 pm.

Varied and delicious offerings. Weekly changes to specials! Tried the Pesto the first night, best I've ever had, thick and authentic sauce.

I found this place today and had the most amazing meal. Food is authentic, atmosphere is casual and friendly and spent some time with Joey Bonelli. The Lemon Cream Dessert was unbelievable and the service was outstanding. Serious Italian Food for even NY’ers! I know... I am one 💪🏽

Thier pesto pasta was delicious and my friend had the eggplant pasta which was great as well. It was totally worth the cost.

Got to dine in the annex which is a small house next to the main restaurant. Was cozy and romantic. The service and food were both fantastic. If you're looking for good Italian food look no further!

What a great night. Wine Wednesday’s with special pricing. Food was fabulous and the service was great. We enjoyed the accomplished Cello player” Cello Salad ( yes real name) playing on the patio as we dined. This is an evening to be enjoyed and not rushed. The homemade lemoncello delicious.Great job we will be back next month when Cello is back.

Lasagna was excellent, baked ravioli was good, a bit heavy on the sauce, Greek salad very good, really good house cabernet. People were super, very friendly. Family run. Nice atmosphere. Might be a little pricier than I would prefer. To be perfect, should be 15% less

The wife and I plus our dog Nickie had a great meal at Bonelli's. The wife had a small Greek salad with shrimp and I had the chicken parmesan with angel hair pasta. She rated her food as excellent and my chicken parmesan was also excellent. We sat outside with our dog Nickie and they had heaters outside to keep us warm. Even though we did not have reservations, we were early so they were able to seat us. The service provided by Amy was outstanding. She was very attentive and super friendly. The owner also greeted us and ask us if our meal was satisfactory. He also spoke to us about his Italian ancestry. He was very cordial and friendly. All in all it was a great evening meal. Highly recommend!!

Great pasta, great wine deals, especially on Wednesday.

The cello flight was delightful. Tried a new red wine and was excellent-Dornfelder. Alas, the angel hair and meatballs and the lasagna were disappointments. The waitress was helpful and attentive. Great outdoor eating area and cozy inside dining.
